1987 IIHF European U18 Championship
The 20th Hockey Championship U18 juniors took place from 3 to 12 April 1987 in Tampere, Kouvola and Hämeenlinna in Finland. The Games of the B group were discharged from 3 to 9 April 1987 in Bucharest, Romania. Venue of the C group was from 14 to March 19, 1987 Zoetermeer in the Netherlands.

The team of Bulgaria was disqualified because she had the dates of birth of some players incorrectly specified. The Bulgarians had won against Romania (4-2 ) and Great Britain ( 9-2 ), lost to Italy with 2:4. With the disqualification, the Bulgarians were firmly relegated.
