1998 UEFA European Under-16 Championship

The 16 U-16 Football Championship was held in the period from April 26 to May 8, 1998 in Scotland. It was the first UEFA tournament in Scotland. Ireland winner was a 2-1 victory over Italy. Defending champion Spain was third. Germany, Austria and Switzerland could not qualify.
