2004–05 EIHL season
The 2004/05 season was the second season of the Elite Ice Hockey League, the highest British Hockey League. First the regular season and thus British Champion were the Coventry Blaze, which also prevailed in the playoffs.

Mode
In the regular season, each of the seven teams completed a total of 50 games, including 14 against teams in the British National League, which also were included in the crossover League in the evaluation of the EIHL. The winner was British Champion. The top six teams qualified for the play-off second round in which they were divided into two groups of three teams. There, the teams met against each group opponent in four games, after which the top two teams in each group qualified for the play-off semi-finals. For a victory after regular time and overtime after each team won two points for a Draws and one defeat after overtime and a point for a defeat after regular time zero points.
