2007 FIVB Women's World Cup

The Volleyball World Cup 2007 was the tenth edition of the competition. He was held in Japan between the 2nd and the 16th of November. Italy won the title. This competition was the same as qualifying for the 2008 Olympic Games.

  • Cuba and the United States of America as a finalist in the 2007 NORCECA Championship
  • Brazil Brazil and Peru as finalists in the South American Championship 2007
  • Kenya as the winner of the Africa Cup 2007
  • Poland Poland and the Dominican Republic Dominican Republic at the invitation of the FIVB.

Mode

The twelve participants played four rounds, where they were informally divided into two groups. The system was " every man for himself ". The first three teams were given a room for the 2008 Olympics, respectively.
