2009 UEFA European Under-19 Championship

The final round of the 25 U-19 European Championship took place between August 2, 2009 of July 21. It was hosted for the first time, the Ukraine, which will host along with Poland and the European Championship A- teams in 2012. The opening match contested England and Switzerland, the 1:1 parted.

The final of the U-19 European Championship 2009 was played between England and hosts Ukraine on August 2. After 5 minutes, the Ukraine scored the 1-0 lead. After the break, they then made ​​it 2-0 and won thus for the first time the U-19 European Championship title.
