Daniel " Dan " Gosling (born 2 February 1990 in Brixham ) is an English footballer who is currently active for Newcastle United.

Sports career

Club career

It is used as a midfielder. His debut as a professional for Plymouth Argyle, he had already been replaced at the age of 16 years and 310 days, he was in the match against Hull City. It was used regularly in the reserve team. In March 2007, he completed a trial at Chelsea. On 3 January 2008, he joined the Premier League club Everton.

On 4 February 2009, he scored in the 118th minute of the FA Cup fourth round replay match against city rivals Liverpool the decisive goal to make it 1-0.

On July 22, 2010 Gosling moved free transfer to the Premier League newly promoted Newcastle United and signed a contract for four years. He got there, the shirt number 15

Gosling played for England at the U- 17 Football Championship in 2007 in Belgium and the U-17 football World Cup 2007 in South Korea, as well as for the U- 19 in the 2008 European Football Championship in the Czech Republic and the European Football Championship 2009 in the Ukraine. On 14 November 2009, he debuted in the U- 21 team when he came on in injury time of the match against Portugal for Fabian Delph.
