2010 FIVB Volleyball Women's World Championship

The Volleyball Women's World Cup 2010 took place from October 29 to November 14 in Japan. Russia became world champion again with a 3-2 victory in the final against Brazil.

Mode

The tournament began with a preliminary round in four groups of six teams. The draw was held in Tokyo on November 24, 2009. The four best teams from each group reached the second round, which was played in two groups of eight participants.
