2012 North American Soccer League season
The 2nd North American Soccer League season began on April 9, 2012 with the start of the regular season and ends on October 29 with the second leg of the final of the play-offs.
Competition format
The format remains unchanged compared to the first season.
The second season kicks off with eight teams. This first play of the regular season, which has a unit table structure. Overall, each team will play 28 games, which are split into Home and Away games. A team meets four times while on the other team.
The top six teams qualify for play-offs, with the top two teams qualify directly for the semi-finals. The remaining four play from the other two semi-finalists. The semifinals and final will be played in two games.
