2014 UCI Women's Road World Cup
The Wheel World Cup Women 2014 is the 17th holding of this since the 1998 season discharged from the International Cycling Union UCI series of the most important one-day races in road cycling women.
With the aim to increase the attractiveness of competitions led the UCI besides the overall individual standings and the team rankings for the 2014 season further by running a special valuations. Thus, a junior rating is awarded on the basis of intermediate sprint a sprint and a mountain stage, and based on the finish. The leaders of these special valuations are as well as the overall leader awarded by a rating jersey. The appearance of the classification jerseys based on designs by Iris Slappendel, an active cyclist, who won a design competition of the UCI.
With the Sparkassen Giro Bochum is for the first time since 2009 a German race again part of this series.
