Dr. Matthew Clark heads a State institution for mentally retarded children. Jean Hansen is a former music teacher who wants to give her life a new meaning. It begins as a new employee at Dr. Clark. Jean, it is not used to working with troubled children and can not understand the strict methods of Dr. Clark.
