A Little Snow Fairy Sugar

Chicchana Yukitsukai Sugar (Japaneseちっちゃな雪使いシュガー) is an anime television series from the year 2001. The manga series was released on in Germany under the title Tiny Snow Fairy Sugar.

The work is about the girl Saga Bergmann and Jahreszeitenfee Sugar and can be classified in the genre Comedy and Drama.

Action

Eleven year old Saga Bergmann lives with her grandmother Regina in the small German town Mühlenburg. Sagas mother, a well-known concert pianist and composer, died three years ago in an accident. After that saga was very closed and could hardly get out of themselves, yet they are always friendly and polite. Really happy it is only when they can play on the piano her mother, which (since they can not be accommodated in the house) is in the shop of a fellow music retailer.

Production and publication

Manga

As of December 2001, a manga released in Japan for the anime series in Dragon Magazine Junior Kadokawa Shoten of the publisher, which was implemented by the character team BH SNOW CLINIC. Later, the manga was published in three anthologies. The plot adheres closely to that of the anime.

In German published in spring 2006, all volumes at Egmont Manga and anime titled Tiny Snow Fairy Sugar. The translation is by Costa Caspary. An English translation was published by ADV Manga in the U.S..
