Action

During a food rationing in a northern English town in 1947, some businessmen want to organize a wedding reception on the occasion of the wedding of Prince Philip and Princess Elizabeth II. To this end, they bring illegal, a full-grown pig to the venue. When the poor chiropodist Gilbert Chilvers finds out his wife Joyce prods him to steal the pig, because it thereby hoped for more social prestige. To solve the case, a food inspector is sent into the city, but did not notice the hidden pig for his Kallmann syndrome.
