The Autocesta A9 (Croatian for, A9 ') is a Croatian highway that leads from Kastel near the Slovenian border to Pula. It is part of the Istrian Ypsilon. The southern part, which also receives traffic to Rijeka, is built as a motorway, the northern and greater part than highway (similar to continuous bevorrangten federal highways ).

Mid-2008 was started with the four-lane expansion of the highway. In June 2010, the four-lane section Pula- Kanfanara and released on 14 June 2011, the second road Umag- Kanfanara to traffic. Since then, the entire route is a toll road.
