Aa ( German: Haakhof ) is a village in the Estonian Ida- Viru in the east of the country community Lüganuse. The village lies on the Gulf of Finland. It has 181 inhabitants ( 2000).

The municipality of Aa was first mentioned in 1241 as Hazæ records in Liber Census Daniae. Later names were hoe Häcke, Haka, Hakala and Haakülla. The historic farm house of Aa was built in the years 1426-1497. Significant changes were made in the 18th and 19th centuries. Since 1924, it houses a nursing home. In Aa was located beyond the year 2000, the Estonian reception center for asylum seekers, which has now been moved to Illuka.
