Abdoulaye Seye

Abdoulaye Seye ( born July 30, 1934 in Saint -Louis, Senegal, † 13 October, 2011 Thies ) was a Senegalese athlete who competed for France.

Career

1959 won the Sprinter at the Mediterranean Games gold in the 100 m. In the 1960 Olympics he won the 200m with his personal best time of 20.7 s bronze behind the Italian Livio Berruti ( 20.5 s ) and the US- American Lester Carney ( 20.6 s ). About 100 meters he reached the quarter-finals in the 4 x 100 - meter relay, he retired with the French team from the inlet port.

About 200 m, it was 1956 and 1959 French champion, 1958 runner-up. In 1959, he was also champion in the 100 m.
