Adda bar Ahavah

Rab Adda ( Ada ) bar Ahaba was an amora of the second generation in Sura.

He was supposedly born on the anniversary rabbis (217 ) and he allegedly died in the 4th century. He was a pupil of Rab and was known for his great age and his piety. He was regarded as a miracle worker and is regarded as the author of Baraita deRab Adda cited in the 14th century to the intercalation of the second month of Adar.
