Ade Mafe

Ade Mafe (actually Adeoye Olubunm Mafe, born November 12, 1966 in Isleworth, London Borough of Hounslow ) is a former British sprinter.

In 1984, he won the 200m silver at the Indoor Athletics Championships in Gothenburg and was eighth at the Olympic Games in 1984. 1985 he took over the same distance silver at the IAAF World Indoor Games in Paris.

In 1989, he won the 200m gold at the European Indoor Championships in The Hague and silver at the IAAF World Indoor Championships in Budapest. Each bronze he won over this distance in 1990, starting for England at the Commonwealth Games in Auckland and in 1991 at the World Indoor Championships in Seville.

About 400 m 1992, he was sixth at the European Indoor Championships in Genoa and peaked at the World Athletics Championships in Stuttgart the quarterfinals.
