Adel Chedli

Adel Ben - Bechir Chedli (Arabic: عادل بن بشير الشاذلي, DMG ʿ Adil b Basir aš - Šāḏilī, . Born September 16, 1976 in La Rica Marie, France) is a Tunisian football player.

Adel Chedli was born in France and raised and has both the French and the Tunisian citizenship. His first club was the FCO Montrabert, then at AS Saint- Étienne, he rose to become a professional soccer player. In 1997 he moved to FC Sochaux, where he played for several years in the Premier League and Tunisian national team was. Most recently, he played for FC Istres, before he moved to the free transfer Erstligaabstieg and a total of 88 games in the highest French League in the Bundesliga. Together with his team-mate Jawhar Mnari he arrived for the season 2005/ 06 1 FC Nuremberg, where he signed a two-year contract. After he had problems with the integration in the first year, he came under two coaches hardly Bundesliga inserts and often had to play instead in the second team. Due to lack of prospects, the contract was canceled after only one year.

In his youth Chedli played for the French junior national team, but then decided to compete in the future for Tunisia, which led to an international mandatory break after his first race for Tunisia in 1996. For the Confederations Cup 2005, he stood in the Tunisian squad. He participated in the Soccer World Cup 2006 in Germany on all three parts of the Tunisian A- choice under coach Roger Lemerre part. Furthermore won Adel Chedli the CHAN ( A African Cup of which are only available to players in the African leagues under contract ) with the Tunisian national team in 2011. He is therefore the only player worldwide and won in Africa both the CAN and the CHAN.

At the beginning of the 2006/2007 season moved to the Swiss first division club FC Sion Chedli.

After his substitution, at the break of the 11th round of the Axpo Super League season 2007/2008 declared Chedli that he would never play more for FC Sion. He was then dismissed by the club president Christian Constantin.

2013 he finished his career with Raja Casablanca.
