The Adelaide Football Club is an Australian football club from Adelaide, South Australia, desen team is called the Adelaide Crows.

Background

In the 1980s, the Victorian Football League (VFL ) began to expand on the areas outside of Victoria. Firstly, by shifting the Sydney Swans to New South Wales in 1982 and secondly, the expansion into Western Australia by the West Coast Eagles and the Brisbane Bears to Queensland in 1987. The South Australian National Football League ( SANFL ) spoke first against the accession of their teams from the VFL. In the 1990 season, the VFL was renamed the Australian Football League ( AFL) in 1991 and played the " Adelaide Football Club " for the first time in this Liega.

The kits for the " Adelaide Crows " are horizontally striped dark blue, red and golden yellow. The club was founded in 1990 and belonged to the SANFL. The club won in 1997 and 1998, the AFL Championship.
