Adnan Erkan

Adnan Erkan ( born January 15, 1968 in Denizli ) is a former Turkish football goalkeeper and current coach. He participated as a third-choice goalkeeper with the Turkish national team at the European Football Championship 1996 in part.

Playing career

Association

Adnan Erkan started his career in 1986 in the youth of Denizlispor. In 1990 he went to Konyaspor and came in 1st Lig 18 times used. In 1993 he then moved to MKE Ankaragucu, another first division club. There he completed a total of 199 games and worked seven years for the club from Ankara. In 2000 he returned to his youth club Denizlispor back in the Turkcell Süper Lig. After poor performances at Denizlispor signed him in 2002, the Turkish second division club Mersin İdman Yurdu. After 32 missions in the second division, he ended his career.

National

Adnan denied an application for the Turkish National Team U-21 and an insert for the Turkish national team.

With the national team he participated as a third-choice goalkeeper at the European Football Championship in 1996, but came during the tournament at any stake.

Coaching career

Following his playing career, he immediately began to work as a coach. As his first role he took over Diyarbakirspor the post of goalkeeper coach. After a year he moved to Konyaspor and worked here as well as goalkeeper coach.

For summer 2012, he took over at third division Denizli Belediyespor the post of head coach and worked the first time in his coaching career in this function.
