Adrián Annus

Adrián Annus [ ɒdria ː n ː ɒn uʃ ] ( born June 28, 1973 in Szeged ) is a Hungarian hammer thrower.

In 2001 he won the bronze medal at the Universiade, and in 2002 he won the European Championships in Munich. On August 10, 2003, he presented in Szombathely with 84.19 meters, his personal best, and shortly after he won at the World Championships in Paris / Saint- Denis the silver medal.

At the 2004 Olympic Games in Athens occupied Annus the first place. When he had, however, denied a doping test twice, he was later stripped of his gold medal by the IOC, and the Japanese Koji Murofushi was declared the winner. In addition Annus was banned for two years. Laboratory tests had found evidence that some of the votes of him doping samples from different people came.
