Adrien Niyonshuti

Adrien Niyonshuti (born 2 February 1987 in Rwamagana ) is a Rwandan road cyclists and mountain bikers.

Adrien Niyonshuti began in 2003 with the cycling. In the Tour of Rwanda, he managed five consecutive times in the top ten, which he won in 2006 and 2008, the total score for themselves. In 2008 he won among other three stages.

Since 2009, he runs for the South African Continental team MTN Cycling. In the 2009 season he participated, among others, at the Tour of Ireland. This was his first race outside of the African continent. In the fall of 2009 he was at the African Cup of Nations in Namibia each tenth in the individual time trial and road race, so that he won the bronze medal in the U23 class both races.

At the Olympic Games in London in 2012 he was flag bearer during the opening ceremony.
