History
The women's football department of Ajax Amsterdam was founded on May 18, 2012 after a call to the KNVB and will participate with the 2012/13 season for the first time at the BeNe League. As the first players the internationals Daphne Koster and Anouk Hoogendijk Telstar FC Utrecht were committed. Then the former national coach of the Dutch national football team of the Women's Ed Engelke was engaged as first coach in history on 30 May 2012.

Ajax maintains in Torrance, California, a farm team. Ajax America plays in the American Women's Premier Soccer League ( WPSL ) and plays its home games at Nansen Field in Rolling Hills Estate, California from. In addition, it had taken under the direction of the KNVB, the Youth Academy was founded in 2007 CTO Amsterdam Talent Team in the summer of 2013.
