Agios Konstantinos, Samos

The village of Agios Konstantinos (Greek Άγιος Κωνσταντίνος ( m. sg. ) ) Is located about 7 km north-west of Kokkari and 7 km east of Agios Nikolaos on the north coast of the Greek island of Samos.

Agios Konstantinos consists of the older district of Agios Konstantinos Pano ( Pano Chorio ) and the younger Kato Agios Konstantinos ( Kato Chorio ). The village of Agios Konstantinos is based on the eponymous church, a former metohi the monastery Moni Vronda named. At the time of hegemony Agios Konstantinos was seat of the municipality Exi Gitonies ( Έξι Γειτονιές, "Six neighborhoods " ), which included the villages still Nenedes, Stavrinides, Manolates and now abandoned settlements Margarites and Valeondades.
