AÄŸlasun

Ağlasun is a district and a district town in the eastern Turkish province of Burdur and is bordered to the east of the provincial capital of Burdur. The name goes back to the Greek place names Agalassos or Sagalassos. The county is bordered on the north and east by the province of Isparta, Burdur to the west, to the southwest by Çeltikçi and on the south by Bucak.

Settlements

In addition to the county town, there are two municipalities in the district of the Canakli and Yeşilbaşköy and 7 villages Aşağıyumrutaş, Çamlıdere, Dereköy, Hisarköy, kibrit, Yazir and Yumrutaş.

Attractions

A few kilometers north of the county town located on the slopes of the Taurus Mountains belonging Akdağ the ruins of the Hellenistic city of Sagalassos.
