Agly

The river just upstream of the mouth

The aglycon ( Catalan: agli ) is a river in France, which runs in the Languedoc- Roussillon region. It rises in the south-west of the highlands of the Corbières, in the municipality of Bugarach. The aglycon drains generally in a southeasterly direction, flows in its upper reaches the impressive Gorges de Galamus and ends after 82 kilometers at Le Barcarès into the Mediterranean. On his way he crosses the Aude and Pyrenees- Orientales.
