Aidan Chambers
Life
Chambers lives in a village of the county Glouceshire. Since he has worked for many years as a teacher, he gained knowledge of language and problems of young people, which he reproduces in his books. His best-known books include dancing on my grave, The Bridge, Taggespenster, ghosts and the children's book Who will stop Melanie Prosser? . His book The Bridge came in 1995 on the selection list for the German Youth Literature Prize.
