Aillant -sur- Milleron is a commune with 386 inhabitants (as of 1 January 2011) in the Loiret in the Centre region.

Geography

Aillant -sur- Milleron located in central France in the landscape Gâtinais on the eastern edge of the Loiret on the river Milleron, a tributary of the Loing, about 48 kilometers east of Auxerre, about 28 kilometers southeast of Montargis, the seat of sub-prefecture of the arrondissements, and 7, 1 km southeast of Châtillon- Coligny, the capital of the canton and the local association to an average height of 167 meters above sea level. Aillant -sur- Milleron belongs to the Roman Catholic parish of Châtillon- Coligny in the Deanery of the Diocese of Orléans Sud Gâtinais.

The church Saint -Martin was built in the 12th century. It is dedicated to Martin of Tours. The nave was rebuilt in 1680. In the years 1877-1891 the western facade was renewed, the vault of the nave and the rim of the window has been redesigned, and on the south wall of the church tower, a vestry was built. In the church there is a baptismal font from the 14th century. A high relief from the 16th century has been integrated in the renewal of the nave in the wall.
