Akure Township Stadium is a multi-purpose stadium in Akure in Ondo State, Nigeria. It has a capacity of 10,000 spectators, is currently used mostly for football matches and is the home ground of Sunshine Stars FC

History

The Akure Township Stadium was built in 1976 by ​​the then Governor of the Western States Christopher Oluwole Rotimi, to drive sporting activities in the region.
