Alain Goraguer

Alain Yves Réginald Goraguer ( born August 20, 1931 in Rosny -sous -Bois ) is a French jazz pianist, arranger, composer of songs and film music. He has worked with Boris Vian and Serge Gainsbourg.

Goraguer grew up in Nice, where his family originated. First, he learned violin, focused after an encounter with pianist Jack Diéval on whose advice but to play the piano. He won prizes at amateur jazz competitions and went to Paris.
