Albano Olivetti

Albano Olivetti (born 24 November 1991 Haguenau ) is a French tennis player.

Life and career

Olivetti has played primarily on the Challenger Tour. On April 1, him his first tournament success was achieved on this tour when he won the title in Le Gosier in Guadeloupe together with Pierre -Hugues Herbert. His Grand Slam debut in a double he gave at the French Open in 2011 on the side of Kenny de Schepper. They survived the first round against Michael Berrer and Florian Mayer, then retired but against Robert Lindstedt and Horia Tecau. In his first appearance in an individual on the ATP World Tour he made in February 2012 for a surprise. In Marseille, he qualified for the first time a main field and pulled one to the quarterfinals. He overcame Matthias Bachinger in straight sets and then threw the set at position two top 10 player Mardy Fish after -fought three sets from the tournament. He eventually defeated his compatriot Michaël Llodra in straight sets.
