Alberto Rodríguez (Mexican footballer)

Alberto Rodríguez Barrera ( born April 1, 1974 in Mexico City) is a Mexican football player on the position of the defender.

Life

Association

Rodríguez received his first professional contract in 1992/93 season with his hometown club Club Universidad Nacional, and moved in 1994 to the second division club CF Pachuca, with whom he won the second division championship of the 1995/96 season. After the descent at the end of season 1996/97 he moved to Monterrey, but in which he could not prevail. After the immediate resurgence of Tuzos in the Primera División he returning in 1998 to Pachuca and stood there the next seven years under contract. During this time he won three championships and in 2002 the CONCACAF Champions ' Cup.

Between 2001 and 2005, Rodríguez joined 13 international appearances for the Mexican national team.
