Alberto Zapater

Alberto Zapater Arjol ( born June 13, 1985 in Zaragoza ) is a Spanish footballer who is since summer 2011 at Lokomotiv Moscow in the Russian Premjer league contract.

Alberto Zapater is probably one of the few players that can still today be described as simplistic loyal and attached to their home. Born in Zaragoza midfielder Zapater comes from the youth his home club Real Zaragoza, where he first from 2000 to 2004 played in the second team and was from 2004 team regular in the first team.

In the 2007 /08 season Zapater rose with Zaragoza Segunda División in the. In summer 2009, he signed with the Italian first division Genoa. In his first competitive game for the Genoese on 23 August 2009, he scored his first hit. The midfielder met in the home game against AS Roma to 2-2, the game ended in a 3-2 win for the CFC Genoa.

On 30 July 2010 Alberto Zapater moved to Sporting Lisbon. He was obliged in exchange for Miguel Veloso.

National

A particular highlight of his young career was the participation in the U- 20 World Cup for the Spanish team together with the likes of Sergio Ramos and Cesc Fàbregas.
