Aleksandar Prijović

Aleksandar Prijović ( Aлeкcaндap Пpиjoвић; * April 21, 1990 in St. Gallen ) is a Swiss football player of Serbian descent. He has been running since the summer of 2012 on the Norwegian first division side Tromsø IL, who has borrowed the striker from Swiss club FC Sion.

Club career

Prijović started his career at FC St. Gallen, the club of his hometown, but changed the age of 16 to Italy, where he joined the FC Parma. On 27 April 2008, he played his first professional game against Reggina Calcio. It was also his only wearing the jersey of Parma. On August 7, 2008, the change to the English second division club Derby County was announced. There, however, he did not play, so he was loaned to Yeovil Town and then to Northampton Town. In the latter, he was able to prevail and played in ten games of the season and scored two goals.

In February 2010 Prijović moved to FC Sion, where he initially was used mainly as a substitute. After his first goal for the club as a "wild " on the opening day of the Championship 2010/11, he conquered in the wake briefly a regular place on the side of Giovanni Sio, Michael Dingsdag and Goran Obradovic. As he, however, had not prevailed in the long term and also fluctuated at the beginning of the following year between starting lineup and bench, he left the club on loan in the fall in the FC Lausanne-Sport. Again, he could not hold as a master force to total, he played only ten games until the end of the season and remained without a goal.

Beginning of August 2012 changed Prijović on loan to Norwegian side Tromso IL in the Tippeligaen. Here he was promoted directly to the hero, as he with his game-winning hit in a 1-0 win at Metalurh Donetsk in the third qualifying round of the Europa League 2012/13 after a 1-1 draw with goals from Zdeněk Ondrášek and Djordje Lazic in the first leg the rise allowed in the play- off round.

Career in the national team

First, Prijović castle, whose parents are from Serbia, the Serbian junior national team. But he decided in 2010 to Switzerland to play the country in which he grew up. Prijović belonged to the squad of the Swiss U20 and U21 national team.
