Reggina Calcio
Reggina Calcio is an Italian football club based in Reggio Calabria. It was founded in 1914 as Unione Sportiva Reggio Calabria, later the name was changed but still a few times until it assumed the present name Reggina Calcio. The home games are played in the 27,763 -seater Stadio Oreste Granillo.
In recent years, Reggina played in the Italian Serie A and Serie B. Reggina in 2006 was involved in the football scandal involving Luciano Moggi and was punished with eleven points deduction. Acted as a safe relegated before the season 2006/ 07, Reggina managed the miracle and secured on the final day with a win at home against AC Milan in the league. In the 2008 /09 season Reggina was the "miracle" does not repeat and rose as the second- last in the B series from.
