Reggina Calcio

The Stadio Oreste Granillo is a football stadium in the Calabrian city of Reggio Calabria in Italy. It is the home stadium of the Series B club Reggina Calcio and holds 27 454 spectators.

History

The stadium was built in the 1920s with the then president of Reggina Calcio, Giuseppe Vilardi financial aid. In 1997 it was renamed Stadio Oreste Granillo in. Granillo was a former president of Reggina, under whose leadership the first promotion to Serie B.

Since the team could always record more success, also increased the number of viewers, so the stadium in 1999 was gently remodeled.
