The Stadio Alberto Braglia is a football stadium in the Italian city of Modena, Emilia -Romagna region. It is the home of the football club FC Modena and Sassuolo Calcio U.S.. The venue has a capacity of 21,151 seats today, of which 10,701 of them covered.

History

The stadium was inaugurated October 11, 1936 with the game FC Modena against the U.S. Cremonese ( 0:0). After the Second World War, the sports complex was named after the Italian artistic gymnastics Olympic champion Alberto Braglia. From 2000 to 2007, the complex was renovated and expanded into four phases. In this case, inter alia, the athletics track was removed.

In the season 2008/ 09 and from the season 2011/12 the U.S. Sassuolo Calcio playing in Serie B and plays its home games also at the Stadio Alberto Braglia, since the Stadio Enzo Ricci in Sassuolo not correspond with 4,000 seats the requirements of the Series B. Juventus wore on August 5, 2010, the UEFA Europa League qualifying match of the 3rd round against Shamrock Rovers at the Stadio Alberto Braglia.

Internationals
