Rolando Bianchi

Rolando Bianchi (* February 15, 1983 in Albano Sant'Alessandro (BG) ) is an Italian football player, he plays on the position of a striker.

Career

In the club

Rolando Bianchi began his career at Atalanta, where he stayed for three seasons before he moved on loan to Cagliari Calcio for the season 2003/ 04. However, Bianchi still returned during the same season back to his hometown club. For the season 2004 /05 he moved back to Cagliari, which is now played in Serie A. This time he came regularly used, but changed anyway at the end of the season for Premier League rivals Reggina Calcio. Since he was injured during the season, he was only nine missions.

In the season 2006/ 07 Bianchi stayed with the southerners and made the final breakthrough. In the first season game he scored against U.S. Palermo three hits, Palermo won 4-3 but still. In the course of the season, he managed along with fellow striker Nicola Amoruso, the Reggina, with eleven minus points started because of their involvement in the match-fixing scandal in the season and for many was considered a safer relegated to back up the league. Bianchi scored 18 goals this season and finished fourth in the Törjägerliste which he attracted the attention of some major European clubs up.

For the season 2007/ 08 Rolando Bianchi moved it for about 13 million euros for English club Manchester City. Even against West Ham United on his Premier League debut, he scored his first goal of the season, which in the following weeks was followed by other hits. After him coach Sven -Goran Eriksson moved frequently only in the closing stages of games. In January 2008, the Swede then informed that he could be looking for a new club.

On 23 January 2008 Bianchi moved on loan to Lazio. As part of the transfer of the capital club has the right to purchase 12.5 million euros. In his debut for Lazio Rolando Bianchi, however, was again dismissed just five minutes after coming off the bench with a yellow card.
