Aleksandar Đurić ( born August 12, 1970 in Doboj, Yugoslavia ) is a former Bosnian and Herzegovian Kanute and current Singaporian Soccer player on the job of forward.

Canoe

Before his football career was Djuric canoeist and four Yugoslavian youth champion. Because of the early wars in Yugoslavia, he came to southern Hungary, where he was offered the young State of Bosnia and Herzegovina at the Olympics in Barcelona in 1992 to represent. Without prior training and own equipment Djuric was partially hitchhiking to Spain. In the one - Canadians over 500 m, he finished under these circumstances the last place at 19 participants.

Association Football

About clubs in the former Yugoslavia and Hungary came Djuric 1994 to Australia, where he first stood at the South Melbourne FC under contract. By the end of the decade he played mainly for various Australian clubs, most recently at Sydney Olympic. In 2000, Djuric joined Home United in the city-state of Singapore where he briefly for Tanjong Pagar United, was in use as early as 1999. With Home United in 2000, he won the Singapore Cup.

From 2001 to 2004 played for Geylang United Djuric, 2001, he won with this team for the first time the S. League. The sporty and successful period witnessed the former Yugoslav since 2005 when he played for the club in the armed forces of Singapore, the Singapore Armed Forces FC. Djuric twice won the Cup four times and the championship, he also was the 2007 and 2008 top scorer of Singapore. Since 2010 he has been at the Tampines Rovers under contract. In the 2010 season the first player Djuric shot his 300th goal in the S. League.

National team of Singapore

For the Singaporean national football team Aleksandar Djuric debuted in November 2007. During World Cup qualifier against Tajikistan the then 37 -year-old scored both goals in the 2-0 victory. Last Djuric 2011 was in the Asian World Cup qualifiers in use, where he scored in the second round against Malaysia and two goals in the group stage of the third round scored the only goal so far for Singapore.
