Alenka Dovžan

Alenka Dovžan ( born February 11, 1976 in Piran) is a former Slovenian alpine skier.

Their first World Cup season (1993 /94) was also their most successful. On January 17, 1994, she won their only World Cup races, the Super -G in Cortina d' Ampezzo. Even more surprising was a few weeks later winning the bronze medal in the Alpine combined with the 1994 Winter Olympics in Lillehammer. End of the season they finished in 13th place in the overall World Cup.

Dovžan reached in all disciplines are amongst the top ten, although then only focused from the late 1990s until her career in late 2003 on Giant Slalom and Slalom.
