Alessandro Besozzi

Alessandro Besozzi (* July 22, 1702 in Parma, † July 26, 1793 in Turin ) was an Italian composer and oboist of the pre-classical period.

Life

Alessandro Besozzi came from the family of musicians Besozzi. He was taught by his father Cristoforo Besozzi ( 1661-1725 ). From 1714 he was associated with a grade of 44 lire a member of the chapel of the " Guardia irlandese ", as did his father and his brothers. In 1728 he was conducted with 100 Lire as a " virtuoso " in the court of Parma in the account books, in addition, he received the recommended daily intake of bread, wine and firewood.
