Alex Nepomniaschy
Alex Nepomniaschy (* 1955 in Moscow, Soviet Union) is an American cinematographer.
Life
Alex Nepomniaschy was born in the former Soviet Union. Since 1974 he has lived in the United States. He studied at New York University and the American Film Institute film. He then worked a long time as a camera assistant and turned sporadically advertising films before he made his debut with the staged by Jyll Rosenfeld comedy A Stroke of Genius as a cameraman for a feature film in 1984. Since then, he turned mainly independent films and was nominated among other things for his work on Narc at the Independent Spirit Awards 2003 for Best Cinematography and honored for his work on Safe from the Boston Society of Film Critics for Best Cinematography.
