Alexander De Croo

Alexander De Croo ( born November 3, 1975 in Vilvoorde ) is a Flemish liberal politician and entrepreneur. Since December 12, 2009, he is chairman of the Open VLD and, since October 18, 2012 Deputy Prime Minister and Minister in the federal government pension Di Rupo.

Biography

Alexander De Croo is the son of Herman De Croo politician. He studied until 1998 at the Free University of Brussels and then at Northwestern University in Illinois. He is married and has a son.

Chairman of the Open VLD

On December 12, 2009, he was selected in the second round of voting as the successor to Guy Verhofstadt. This is all the very considerable, since it previously still held no political mandate.
