Alexandr Smyshlyaev

Alexander Alexandrovich Smyschljajew (Russian Александр Александрович Смышляев; born March 16, 1987 in Lysva ) is a Russian freestyle skis. He specializes in the moguls and dual moguls mogul disciplines.

Biography

Smyschljajew debuted on 18 February 2005 in the World Cup and drove it in Sauze d'Oulx on 33rd The first World Cup points he won eight days later with 10th place in Voss. He qualified for the 2006 Winter Olympics, where he finished 13th. At the Junior World Championships in 2006 and 2007, two fifth places were his best results. The first podium in the World Cup he managed January 31, 2009 in Deer Valley, in the same season was followed by winning his first Russian Championship title.

In winter 2009/10 Smyschljajew advanced with two third place finishes in the World Cup and a tenth place finish at the 2010 Winter Olympics closer to the top.
