Alexandros Alexandris

Alexandros Alexandris, mostly short Alekos Alexandris (Greek Αλέκος Αλεξανδρής, born October 21, 1968 in Kiato ) is a former Greek football player who since 2006 ended his career and has most recently played in the Cypriot club APOP Kinyras Peyias. He is currently manager of Elassona FC.

Career

Alekos Alexandris began his career with the local club Pelopas Kiato. From 1986 to 1991 he played at Veria FC. Then he changed to AEK Athens, where he played a total of three years and in all three years the Alpha Ethniki won. He was there 1 994 Goal Scorer king of the Alpha Ethniki.

He spent the largest part of his career at Olympiakos Piraeus. There he played for ten years and celebrated in Piraeus his greatest successes. He won seven times the Alpha Ethniki and once the Greek Pokal. In the case of Olympiakos Piraeus he was three times Goal Scorer king of the Alpha Ethniki. During his time at Olympiakos Piraeus he also became of Greek Footballer of the Year.

He then played one year at Larissa and Kallithea FC. In 2005 he moved to Cypriot club APOP Kinyras Peyias. There he played until 2006 as player-coach and then ended his football career.

National

Alexandris made ​​its debut in the Greek national football team on 27 March 1991 and he played at the Football World Cup 1994. 2002, he finished his career in the national team. He made 42 games for Greece, scoring ten goals.

Teams managed

After he moved to Cypriot club APOP Kinyras Peyias, he was there some kind of player-coach. After two years break as a coach, he was on February 12, 2008 Head Coach at the Greek club AO Kerkyra playing in the Beta Ethniki. After only one season, he took over the U-21 team of Olympiakos Piraeus by the year 2011. Between 2011 and 2012, he was head coach of FC Elassona.
