Alexandru Pliușchin

Aleksandr Pliuşkin (Cyrillic Александр Плюшкин; born January 13, 1987 in Chişinău ) is a Moldovan road bicycle racer.

Career

Junior

Aleksandr Pliuşkin won at the track - Cycling World Championships for Juniors, 2004 in Los Angeles, the bronze medal in the scratch and could not do so already attracted international attention at a young age itself. Then in 2007, as he prepares for ag2r Chambery drove the elite of his later first professional team, managed Pliuşkin the breakthrough, as he won the very challenging Tour of Flanders ( U23 ) in convincing style first and then the bronze medal in the road race and the gold medal in the individual pursuit on the track at the B world Cup in Cape Town secured. First years as a professional

In the 2008 season was Pliuşkin professional with the French team ag2r -La Mondiale. Already in the first year with this team he was Moldavian champion in the road race. He repeated this success in 2010 and 2011 in the jersey of the Katusha team. In 2012, he moved to Leopard Trek Continental team.
