Alexei Lezin

Alexei Vladimirovich Lesin (Russian Алексей Владимирович Лезин; born February 27, 1973 in energetics, Orenburg Oblast ) is a Russian boxer.

Career

National

Lesin began in 1984 with the boxes and was throughout his career a five-time Russian champion. At the Russian Championships 2001 he lost the final Alexander Povetkin, it could in 2003 but beat.

World Championships

In his first World Championships in 1993 in Tampere he failed a heavyweight (up to 91 kg) in the quarterfinals of Félix Savón, Cuba ( 13:7 ). He then won but the 1995 World Championships in Berlin in the super heavyweight class. His opponent in the final was there Vitali Klitschko.

At the World Championships in Budapest in 1997 he was defeated in the quarterfinals prematurely against Cuban Alexis Rubalcaba.

Olympic games
