Alfredo Duhalde

Alfredo Duhalde Vásquez (* June 30, 1898, † 10 April 1985) was June 27, 1946 until October 17, 1946 pro forma Chilean interim president.

As interior minister by President Juan Antonio Ríos he took over his powers after Ríos in January 1946 seriously ill, until his death on June 27, 1946. From 3 August to October 17, 1946 led Vicente Merino Bielich the presidency. After the elections of October 17, Juan Antonio Iribarren Cabezas led to 3 November presidential duties until the elected successor Gabriel González Videla took office.
