Ali Akbar Nategh-Nouri

Ali Akbar Nateq Nuri (Persian علیاکبر ناطق نوری; * 1943 ) is a Shiite clerics with religious titles Hodschatoleslam and Iranian politicians.

Nateq Nuri was from 1981 to 1985 Iranian Interior Minister under Seyyed Ali Chamene'i and 1996-2000 President of the Parliament. At the presidential election in 1997 he was a candidate of the conservative clergy from the Supreme Leader ( Leader ) Seyyed Ali Chamene'i chosen. Nateq Nuri's defeat in this election against Mohammad Khatami meant by Huschang Golschiri, a first emergence of liberal forces in the Iranian state structure and is considered to be the beginning of a second revolution.

As a consolation for this defeat Nateq Nuri was appointed to the Advisory Board direct the revolutionary leader. On the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the Iranian Revolution, Nateq Nuri said in March 2009 on Bahrain as " 14 Province of Iran, " the Shah Mohammad Reza Pahlavi in 1970 " just gave up ". He sparked international protests that culminated in the severance of diplomatic relations of Morocco to Iran.
