Alien Love Triangle

Alien Love Triangle is a British science fiction comedy film from 1999, which was, however, only premiered in 2008. Directed by Danny Boyle, screenplay by John Hodge.

Action

The physicist Steven Chesterman builds a device which is used for teleportation. He goes home to tell about his wife Alice. It turns out that Alice is a male alien, which the figure of a woman adopted. The married Alice Elizabeth aliens comes from the planet Nulark to bring her husband back home.

Background

The production company Miramax Films conceived the film as one of the three parts of an episodic film. The other parts Mimic - Attack of the killer insects and Impostor have been developed to feature films with full-length, which is why the publication of this part was put on hold.

The world premiere took place on 23 February 2008 at Cinema La Charrette in Gorseinon (Wales ) instead. This opened in 1953 in the building of an old railway carriages cinema with 23 seats was considered the smallest cinema in the UK. It was closed in February 2008.

Kenneth Branagh described the film, in a speech before the performance as a "lost film of one of the greatest directors ".
